My name is Katrina Hunter, and I am the owner of New Discoveries family child Care. I am licensed by the state of maryland. I love children, and I hope my home offers a home away from home for your child. I feel my experience as a mother, my love of children as well as the training I have received are qualities needed to provide a warm, nurturing, and educational environment. I am excited to embark on this journey, assisting you in the development of your child. I take my profession as a childcare provider seriously, and will obtain as much continuing education as possible in order to constantly improve my knowledge and skills.
I have also received American Heart Association certification in Infant, Child and AdultCPR, and First Aid which must be updated yearly. In addition, I have a degree in Family and Consumer Sciences with a concentration in Child Development and Family Relations.
